No DPO Was Shot Dead In Rivers This Morning – Police Clears The Air

 

The Rivers State Police Command has debunked rumours making the rounds that a Divisional Police Officer, DPO, was shot dead in the Rivers State.

 The report had it that a DPO was shot dead at Chinda extension off Iwofe road in the state at about 7:30am today.

 When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Nnamdi Omoni, said the report had no iota of truth in it.

 Omoni said, “No DPO was shot dead in Rivers, please, the report is a lie.”
